Project Chat lets you ask questions and give feedback right on a project. When a project is shared, other makers who open it can read the discussion and add their own comments.
Sharing your project
Other makers can only see and comment on a project that's shared. Open the Project Overview and choose an option from the Sharing drop-down (1):
- Private: Only you can view
- Anyone with the link can copy
- Shared to the Gallery
See Publishing and Sharing Projects in Easel for more about each option.
Using Project Chat
1. Open the chat panel
Click the chat icon in the top-right corner of the toolbar.
2. Discussion
Read the comments on your project. Click Reply to answer a comment. If no one has commented yet, you'll see Start a discussion about this project.
3. Leave a comment
Type your message and send it. Press Shift + Enter to start a new line, type @ to mention a workpiece or person, and use Markdown to format your text.
| Important: Chat messages are public. Anyone who can open the shared project can read them. To stop others from seeing or adding comments, change the project's sharing to Private: Only you can view. |
