Custom project defaults let you choose the material and bit that every new project starts with, so you don't have to set them up each time.
Saving your defaults
- Open a project and set up the Material and Bit you want to use as your defaults.
- Open the Project menu (1) and choose Save as default (2).
Every new project you create from now on starts with these settings.
Checking or resetting your defaults
To see which defaults you're using, open the Options tab (3) in your projects window. The New Project Defaults section shows the material, size, bit and detail bit that new projects start with.
- If you haven't saved your own defaults, it says You are using default new project settings and shows Easel's standard settings.
- If you have, it shows your saved settings (4). Click Reset to default (5) to go back to Easel's standard settings.
Changing your defaults
Set up a project with the new material and bit, then choose Project > Save as default again. The new settings replace the old ones.
| Helpful Tip: Saving or resetting defaults doesn't change your existing projects. It only affects projects you create afterwards. |
