You can keep a project private, share it with a link, or publish it to the Easel Gallery for the whole community to see and copy. You choose this in the project's Project Overview.
Opening the sharing settings
1. Share
Click Share in the top-right corner. The Project Overview window opens.
2. Sharing
Choose who can see your project. Your change is saved as soon as you pick an option. There's no separate publish button.
3. Project link
Click Copy to copy the link to your project.
4. Ready to publish
Shows what your project needs before you can share it to the Gallery.
Sharing options
- Private: Only you can view. New projects start as private. Only you can open the project.
- Anyone with the link can copy. Copy the link that appears under the drop-down and send it to anyone. People with the link can open the project and copy it into their own account. The project doesn't appear in the Gallery.
- Shared to the Gallery. Your project is published to the Easel Gallery, where anyone can find it and copy it.
To stop sharing a project, change the drop-down back to Private: Only you can view.
Sharing to the Gallery
Before you can share a project to the Gallery, it needs a description, build photos and materials.
- If something is missing, Easel shows a message telling you what to add (1), and the project keeps its current sharing setting.
- Use the Ready to publish checklist (2) to see what's done. Add the missing items on the left side of the Project Overview, then choose Shared to the Gallery again.
