The Monogram App makes it easy to carve names, initials or other text, decorated with one of several built-in designs. Easel positions and sizes your text within the design so it carves cleanly as an engraving or a cutout.
Opening the Monogram App
Click the Apps icon (1) in the left toolbar, then choose Monogram (2). You can also find it under More Apps in the App Library.
Creating your monogram
1. Text
Type the name, initials or other text you want to carve.
2. Font
Choose a font: Allura, Baskerville, Bemio, Cinzel, Code Pro, Josefin or Lavanderia.
3. Style
Choose the design around your text: Plain, Circle, Royal, English or Floral. Try each one and watch the preview to find the look you want.
4. Cut Options
- Engraving: Carves the monogram into the surface of your material.
- Cut Out: Cuts the monogram out of your material as its own piece.
5. Check the preview
The preview shows your monogram on your material. Underneath, Easel shows the Monogram size and the material size it was scaled for. The monogram is sized automatically to fit your material.
6. Generate
Click Generate to add the monogram to your project.

Editing your monogram
- Select the monogram on your canvas (1).
- In the Shape panel, click Edit Monogram (2). This reopens the Monogram App with your settings.
- Change the text, font, style or cut option, then save your changes.
The Monogram App is available to all Easel and Easel Pro users.
