The Shape properties tab contains Position and Size specifications. You can set the size of an object manually and also rotate it based on a specific angle.
If you want to place your object at a specific point in your project, you can use the positioning dots and enter the exact X and Y coordinates of where you want your shape to be located. By default, the positioning is set to align with the bottom left corner of your shape. In other words, the X and Y readout to the right of the Position dots tells you the X and Y location of the bottom left part corner of your object. If you want to position the location based on the middle of your shape or one of the other corners, you can select that dot and then enter the coordinates.
Please note: positioning your object using these dots and coordinates does not change where your machine will home. If you want to change the starting position or carve from the center, check out this article.
In the Cut menu, you can change the depth of your design—using the slider or entering a number below the slider—and altering a shape from being either filled or an outline.
1/25/2023 Update:
A quick rotate feature has been implemented for all Easel users. With a shape (or shapes) selected in the design view of Easel, the Shape window of the Cut/Shape modal now includes a button under “Rotation” that will rotate the selected shape(s) counter-clockwise with each press. No need to type in your degree measurements for simple 90-degree rotations!
