Every class has its own feed, where students discuss shared projects, and its own gallery of published work. Students only see the classes they're in. As the teacher, you can see and take part in all of your classes.
See what students have published
- Go to your Classes page and open a class.
- Select the Gallery tab. The number next to it shows how many projects are published.
Join the conversation
- In Easel, select the people icon at the top right of the screen to open the discussion panel.
- Select the Class Feed tab.
- Use the class buttons at the top of the feed to switch between your classes.
- Open any post to see the project and its comments.
You can comment on, reply to, and suggest changes to student projects the same way students do. Your comments show your full name. Students see their classmates' first names and last initials.
How students share their work
Students choose how each project is shared, from the Share button in Easel:
| Sharing option | Who can see it |
|---|---|
| Private: Only you can view | The student |
| Shared to class feed | The student, you, and the class, in the class feed |
| Shared to class gallery | The student, you, and the class, in the gallery and the feed |
Good to know
- Each student project is shared with one class only. To share it with another class, the student makes a copy.
- Once a project is shared to the class feed, it stays in the feed. A student can take a project out of the class gallery by setting it back to Private.
- Nothing students share appears in Easel's public gallery or community.
