There are a few cases where a bit may not appear in the bit drop-down. This is usually because the bit is a ballnose bit, which Easel only shows in certain situations:
- Standard (2D) carves: Ballnose bits are not available. Easel only offers ballnose bits for 3D carves in Easel Pro, so they won't appear in the bit drop-down for any other carve.
- 3D carves (Easel Pro): Ballnose bits are the only bit that can be used for the 3D detail pass, so the detail bit drop-down will only show ballnose bits.
