What is Easel Generate?

Easel Generate is an AI design generator built into Easel. Describe what you want in plain language, and Easel Generate creates a design you can bring straight into your project and carve.

What you can make

2D designs — Signs, logos, silhouettes, line art, and other flat designs. Generated as vector artwork you can edit, resize, and carve like any other Easel shape.

3D designs — Bas-relief models for 3D carving. Easel Generate creates the design and the height map that turns it into a carvable relief.

Choose 2D or 3D, describe what you want, and generate. If the first result isn't right, iterate on it until it is.

How it works

1. Open Easel Generate. You'll find it in the Easel toolbar with the 🪄 icon.
2. Choose your output. 2D or 3D. The button shows how many tokens the generation will use before you commit.
3. Write your prompt. Write a prompt covering the subject, style, and any details that matter. For 3D, you can also upload a reference image to generate from instead of writing a description.
4. Generate. Your design appears in a few moments.
5. Iterate or import. Not quite right? Iterate with an adjusted prompt. Happy with it? Import it into your project and start carving!
    

Subscribing to Easel Generate

Easel Generate is a monthly add-on subscription. It works with any Easel plan, including Easel Basics (our free plan) — you don't need Easel Starter or Easel Pro to subscribe to Easel Generate.

Pricing is in USD and subject to sales tax where applicable.

To subscribe, go to your Account page and select Add Easel Generate. Your Easel Generate subscription is separate from your Easel plan and is billed on its own date. You can change your token plan or cancel at any time, and cancelling one subscription doesn't affect the other.

Note on 3D: Anyone with an Easel Generate subscription can generate 3D designs. Carving a 3D design in Easel requires an Easel Pro subscription. You can still export your 3D designs to use elsewhere without Pro.

Things worth knowing up front

• Every generation uses tokens. Each generation and each iteration draws from your monthly token balance. See How tokens work in Easel Generate for the full breakdown.
• Tokens reset every month and don't roll over. Unused tokens don't carry into the next billing period.
• AI results vary. Generative AI is probabilistic. Two identical prompts won't produce identical designs, and your first result won't always match exactly what you pictured. Iterating is a natural part of the process — see Getting better results from Easel Generate.
