Join your class
You need two things from your teacher: the class code and your school email address on their class list.
- Go to easel.com/classroom.
- Under Join your class, type your class code and select Find my class.
- Create your account in one of two ways:
- Sign in with Google: use your school Google account.
- Create your account: enter your first name, last name, and the school email address you gave your teacher. Choose a password of at least 15 characters, then select Create my account.
- You'll see You're in and a list of your classes. Select your class to open its gallery, or select Start designing.
Start at easel.com/classroom and enter your class code under Join your class.
Create your account with Google or with your school email address.
You won't get a confirmation email, so you can start straight away.
Already have an Easel account with your school email? Sign in to it first, then enter your class code. Easel will offer to turn it into a class account. You keep your projects, but anything you shared publicly is taken down, and this can't be undone.
Joining another class? Go to easel.com/classroom, enter the new code, and select Join this class.
Something not working?
- "That class code didn't work": check the code with your teacher. They may have made a new one.
- "We couldn't add you to that class with this email address": your teacher needs to add the address you're using. Check it with them.
- "This class isn't taking new students right now": ask your teacher for help.
Sign in next time
Go to easel.com/classroom. Under Welcome back, sign in with Google or select Sign in with email and password.
Forgot your password? Ask your teacher. They can give you a link to choose a new one.
What your class account can and can't do
Your class account is made for schoolwork. It includes Easel Pro while you're in a class.
You can:
- Design and carve projects in Easel
- Share projects with your class in the class gallery
- Comment on projects in your class
- Look at Easel's public gallery, like anyone can
- Download your projects
- Join more classes with another class code
Your class gallery. Only people in your class can see it.
You can't:
- Share your work publicly, or post or comment in Easel's public community
- Follow people outside your classes
- Buy or change a subscription
- Change how your name is shown. Classmates see your first name and last initial.
If you get stuck, ask your teacher. They're your first stop for help, not Easel support.
Who can see your work
Your work stays inside your class.
| Who | What they can see |
|---|---|
| You | All of your work |
| Your teacher | All of your work in their class |
| Classmates | Only projects you share with the class, with your first name and last initial |
| Other classes, the public, advertisers | Nothing |
Easel only uses your information to run Easel Classroom for your school. There are no ads, no selling, and no AI training. Read more in Your privacy in Easel Classroom.
When your class ends: after your teacher closes your last class, your account and work are deleted within 60 days. Download any projects you want to keep before then.
Need more help?
Ask your teacher. They can help with class codes, joining, and passwords.
